"Our Little Stinker" - We decided that a skunk outfit would be perfect for Chase's Halloween
and boy were we right!!! Unfortunately, the weather on Halloween was awful, so we ended up staying in. Chase celebrated
by going to bed at 6:30! ;o)

Chase is feeling much better, so we went to Hardy's Fall Festival today, it was a lot of fun!
Chase even won his very first pie in the "cake walk." (With a little help from Mom.) ;o)

Chase woke up at 2:45 this morning with a 102 fever. :o( Daddy took him to the Dr.
and after ruling out strep throat (puss on his tonsils) and a CBC that came back good, they decided it's a virus that will
need to run it's course. Our poor little guy!!! Then, the bad news. We found out that Chase may have a bilateral
hernia (groin) and if that's the case he will need surgery to have it repaired. We know that this is very common, but
we are devastated at the thought of Chase having to go through that. It really scares us to even think about him having
surgery at any age, much less being so young. We have a consult w/Texas Children's on Nov. 2nd (that's where the surgery
would be performed) and will schedule it for December if it comes to that. Any prayers and positive thoughts are more
than welcome!!

We went to the Pumpkin Patch with Dutchess (Kahla's Mom) today and Chase picked out his very
first pumpkin. Actually we got three pumpkins, one for Mommy, Daddy, and Chase. It was the perfect day for picking
pumpkins and we can't wait to do it again next year. We definitely see a new tradition here!

We went to Chase's first Halloween party today! It was held at Aunt Susie's and Uncles
Sammy's and we had a really good time. Chase stayed up way past his bedtime and finally passed out while him and Mommy
were watching the Astro's on the big Screen. Chase went as "Baby Larry the Cable Guy", Mommy went as a Devil, and Daddy
went as Mr. Clean. Memaw dressed up as Edith Ann off of Laugh Stop (I think) and Paw Paw went as "Big" Larry the Cable
Guy. And Chase drank from a straw for the first time today!

We went to Wade and Katie's baby shower for Baby Cayden today!

We welcomed teeth #7 and #8 today! We figure he is working on one for every month, since
he's going on 8 months old. That or he's decided he like a pork chop! ;o)

Daddy and Chase had their pictures made together in the camo today! They turned out
really well and it looks like we definitely have "two peas in a pod!!!" Chase also got his 6th tooth today!
